Tickets are still available for the upcoming Ellwood City Winter Wine and Brew Fest. The annual event will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 28 at the Sons of Italy at 808 Lawrence Ave. The event is a crowd favorite and proceeds benefit Ellwood City Revitalization. Upcoming Chamber SBS and ‘Let There Be Lights’ Events Scheduled

The Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce is beginning to prepare for downtown holiday events! Small Business Saturday in the Ellwood City community will be held Saturday, November 30th while the ‘Let There Be Lights’ weekend of events is scheduled to be held Friday, December 6th and Saturday, December 7th. The chamber’s goal is to work together with community organizations and local businesses to help provide family-friendly events to help kick off the holiday season. The annual Ellwood City Memorial Day parade was held on Monday, May 27. The parade began on the Veterans Bridge on Fifth Street at 10:00 a.m and proceeded to Crescent Avenue, over to Eighth Street, down to Lawrence Avenue, back to Fifth and then onto Spring Avenue into Legion Park, where the 45-minute memorial event was held. The parade traveled to several veterans, local leaders spoke, the borough’s civic choral performed, and there was a flag-raising ceremony. The Ellwood City Revitalization held its 3rd Annual Winter Wine and Brew Fest on Saturday afternoon at the Ellwood City Sons of Italy Club.  The event featured beer and wine tasting, entertainment, DJ, raffles, catered food, and a Chinese Auction. Over 25 baskets donated by local businesses along with two gun raffles, sponsored by Duke’s Sport Shop, and two 50/50 raffles! Participation benefits the Ellwood City Revitalization projects. Ellwood City held their annual holiday events this past weekend – Friday night’s Light Up Night and Saturday afternoon’s Christmas Parade invited families and friends downtown Ellwood City for holiday festivities.
