Wayne Township Votes Against Holding Clean-Up Day

In a 2-1 vote, the Wayne Township Board of Supervisors voted against holding its annual clean-up day. The vote was part of new business items at the township’s monthly Board of Supervisors meeting on Thursday, March 7th. According to the township, Supervisor Marc Cunningham voted no with Supervisor Rick Weingartner seconding the vote. Supervisor William Hepler was in favor of clean-up. If you have waste to get rid of, here’s your chance. The Borough of Ellwood City has announced information on its upcoming borough clean-up day scheduled for next Saturday. The clean up date is Saturday, September 16th from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Drop off location is the parking lot at 1210 Factory Avenue in Ellwood City, just west of Adams Manufacturing Building #4 and prior to the Moose Lodge. Wayne Township has announced its annual clean up day. The township clean up day will take place on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. until noon at the municipal building located at 1418 Wampum Road, Ellwood City, PA 16117. The Franklin Township 2018 Clean-Up Day will be held from 8:00am to 2:00pm on May 5, 2018. Township residents may drop off their trash at the township’s municipal building.
