Carnegie Free Library of Beaver Falls: “A Novel Event”

Saturday Nov 18th 11a.m. to 4p.m.  25 Authors will be on hand to meet greet and sale their books.  Panel discussions will be happening throughout the day.   Learn more about writing in various genres, mindful writing and even writing about nonfiction. Along with the general yearly updates to the schedule and roster, the official Ellwood City Wolverines website is expecting to make further changes for this upcoming season, with the biggest alteration being the addition of high-definition live streaming for both home and away games. Teddy Bear Run to Benefit Akron Children’s Hospital

The God Chasers Motorcycle Club is taking donations for their Teddy Bear Run event to benefit children at the Akron Children’s Hospital. From exotic animal encounters to a trashion-fashion show, live performances, Eco-friendly vendors, and much more – The Ellwood City Chamber of Commerce put together an Earth Day celebration to remember. While the annual event gets bigger every year, their newest addition to the celebration is the Trashion Show. With over half a dozen local competitors, the Ewing stage was filled with fashionable trash outfits crafted completely out of recyclable materials.
