ELLWOOD CITY – On 1000 block of Lawrence Ave. in Ellwood City, a new car dealership has settled in. Kasing-Dodge has moved their facility from Harmony, Pa to Ellwood City.

Jonathan J. Kasing, Vice President and CEO, summed up the dealership’s move by saying. “We pulled a miracle.” Kasing-Dodge began their move on July 10th and the move was completed by July 14th.

They retained 22 of their employees from the Harmony dealership while obtaining 2 more, Tom Kennedy and Merle Schilling, from the previous dealership located on Lawrence Ave. Kasing employees also include Jerry Kasing who is in charge of sales, Debra Kasing who is in charge of marketing, and Linda Kasing who is the cashier.

Kasing moved to Ellwood City to expand their business. Kasing has been in business for over 40 years and the owner Louis J. Kasing has owned Kasing since 1960. Louis J. Kasing still stops by everyday to check on the business.

Since Kasing moved in they also obtained the title of Jeep and Chrysler. They have 110 new cars and 30 used cars on the lot.  Kasing has placed 64 orders for new 2009 model cars since its arrival on Lawrence Avenue.
