1:03 PM - Not only will tonight be of great magnitude for the seniors of Ellwood City as they play their last game at Lincoln High School, this night will be significant for all those who have ever played on the basketball court.

Senior night will have a new importance tonight as it will host the very last basketball game to be played on the court at Lincoln High School, as it will be completely new upon completion of renovations.

Although this game is significant for every player tonight, it’s even more significant for those seniors playing their very last home game at Lincoln High School.

Ellwood City will hold a combined Senior Night for both the girls and boys varsity teams tonight. Both the girls and boys basketball teams will host New Castle with Senior Night festivities preceding each game.

The seniors who will be recognized during tonight’s festivities for the Ellwood boy's team are Cody Mittica, Tyler Lucarelli, and Richard McKinney.

“These 3 young men became the rocks of our program, as I could always count on them to be at every workout and every game,” said boy’s head coach Jason Bumblis regarding his seniors. “They truly symbolize what our program is about. They show that if you work hard and handle yourself properly, good things will come.”

Vitoria Pinatto and Jessica Gassdorf will be the honored seniors for the Ellwood City girl’s team.

The Ellwood City girls varsity game will commence at 6:00 p.m. with the boys varsity game to follow at 7:30 p.m. The junior varsity games will not be held tonight.
