Martha E. Beckley, 98, of Saegertown, PA and formerly of Ellwood City passed away April 7th, 2022, at the Crawford County Care Center in Saegertown. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Pauline (Peffer) Kimmel and was born December 13, 1923, in Ellwood City. Wilbur L (Skip) Boots, age 83, of Fombell passed away July 8th peacefully at home with his family by his side after battling kidney disease. Wilbur was born on September 3rd, 1938 in Ellwood City to the late Wilbur H and Eleanor (Koach) Boots of Frisco. Wilbur graduated from Lincoln High School class of 1957 and attended Geneva College. He served in the U.S Army for 3 years in Germany attaining the rank of SP4. Wilbur retired from Robinson Industries in Zelienople after 32 years as purchasing manager. Patricia (Pat) Alberth Snowden, 88, of Ellwood City (Franklin Twp.) died on Thursday, July 7, 2022. Born March 4, 1934 in Worthington, PA, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Himes and the widow of John (Jack) Snowden. Pat was a graduate of Zelienople High School and Heidelberg College, where she studied elementary education. She devoted her professional life to teaching children, specializing in reading, in the Riverside School District both at Marion and Riverside Elementary Schools. Alexander “Bunnel” Mulig Jr., 66, of New Castle passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022 at his sister’s residence in Ellwood City after a short battle with cancer, surrounded by his loved ones. Born September 26, 1955 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Alexander Sr. and Julia Greco Mulig. Bunnel went to Riverside High School. Trudy Wigton, 94, of Portersville, Pennsylvania, died on July 2, 2022, at the Butler Memorial Hospital. Trudy was born on October 20, 1927, in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Leora and Arnold McAllister. She was the grand-daughter, and namesake of, Gertrude McAllister.  She had two siblings, Robert and Richard McAllister, who preceded her in death.
