Mrs. Vivian M. Rue, 82, of Franklin Township passed away on Sunday, December 25th, 2022 at the Heritage Valley Medical Center in Beaver with her loving family at her bed side. Mrs. Rue was born in Ellwood City on May 1st, 1940 to the late James and Hazel (Palm) Flesher. She had worked at the J & T Custard Stand, Ellwood City Knitting Mill, and Fotia Bros.. James F. Gillespie, 86, of Perry Township passed away at his residence on Friday, December 23, 2022. Born in Ellwood City on November 2, 1936, James was the son of the late Harold I. and Margaret Richards Gillespie.  James was preceded in death by his wife, the former Nancy Dombeck on May 1, 2006.  They were married on April 27, 1954.  He had retired from the Ambridge B & W where he worked as a turn foreman.  James was an active member of Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church where he was an usher and a Eucharist minister.  He was…

Amy D. Boy, 88, formerly of Ellport, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Hospice Beaver. Born on June 6, 1934 in New Castle, Amy was the daughter of the late John and Margaret Gilbert Contos.  She was preceded in death by her husband, William Boy, who died on September 3, 2018.  They were married on July 27, 1952.  Amy attended Christ Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Ellport Boosters and the Ellwood City Municipal Women’s Club.  Amy enjoyed entertaining and cooking for her friends and family.  She truly loved the time she spent…

David Kineston, Jr., 45, of Shenango Township, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022 in the Emergency Room at UPMC Jameson. Born in Ellwood City on February 16, 1977, David was the son of David Kineston of Shenango Township and the late Rose Jones Kineston.  David is survived by his wife, Anna Hargenrader Kineston.  A self-employed auctioneer, David was Catholic by faith and enjoyed hunting, fishing and auto racing.  He loved the time he had with his family especially with his children and grandchildren. Cecelia (Teets) Oliver passed away on December 16, 2022, at her home at the age of 86. She lived most of her life in North Sewickley Township. Preceding her in death were her parents, Theodore and Dorothea (Thompson) Teets; her daughter, Loretta; her sister and brother-in-law, Myrna and Bill Howman; her sister, Patty (Joe) Woloszyn; and her stepmother, Ruthene Kocher Teets. Bruce Allen Ives, 64, of Valparaiso, IN, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022. He was born September 1, 1958, in Ellwood City, PA to Robert T. Ives and Ruth B. (Minkel) Ives.
