Holy Redeemer Golf Bash Cancelled

According to a Facebook post made by the Ellwood City Wolves and Holy Redeemer, the Golf Bash that was originally scheduled to take place on January 16th has now been cancelled. After receiving a letter from Bishop David Zubick on the amount of rising COVID-19 cases in the area, the decision was made to cancel this in person event. Pennsylvania Farm Show To Be In Person This Year

Sen. TERRORISTIC THREATS: According to a criminal complaint, on December 24th Patrick McCloskey, 41, of Ellwood City, was charged with Terroristic Threats With Intent To Terrorize Another. At approximately 9:10 a.m., ECPD was requested by McCloskey’s mother to come to Crescent Avenue due to threats made by McCloskey towards her and her other son. It was learned by police of an active bench warrant for McCloskey’s arrest. Senior Alexander Roth connected on six 3-pointers en route to his game high 26 points to lead Ellwood City to at 63-40 victory Tuesday Night over rival Riverside. The Ellwood City Area Historical Society is pleased to announce they will hold their first meeting of 2022 Monday, January 10 at 7:00 pm.
