Angeline M. Takas, 92, of Chewton, went home to be with the Lord on Friday afternoon, Dec. 11, 2015 in the Ellwood City Hospital following a brief illness. She was born in Chewton on Oct. 22, 1923 to the late John Ciletti and the late Susanna Labriola Ciletti. She attended Lincoln High School and was a member of the Ellwood City Christian Assembly Church. Angeline enjoyed cooking and gardening. S. Bernice Houk, 100, of Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Ellwood City, passed peacefully into God’s hands on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015 from Cherry’s Assisted Living Home in Tucson. She was born over a century ago in Jackson Center, Pa., on Oct. 11, 1915 to the late Clare S. and Mary Blanche Hillman Turner. Bernice had recently celebrated her 100th birthday with a large gathering of friends and relatives in Tucson. Laura E. Neupauer, 73, of Ellwood City, passed away on Sunday evening, Nov. 22, 2015, in the Ellwood City Hospital. She was born in Philadelphia on July 23, 1942, to the late Alfred E. Crowther, who died June 18, 1992, and the late Laura Davis Crowther, who died Dec. 14, 2006. Laura mainly enjoyed all her pets. David L. Servick, 63, of Squaw Run Road, Wayne Township, Ellwood City, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015 at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was born in Ellwood City on June 20, 1952 to the late Stanley Servick and the late Bernice Janis Servick.
