The seniors are at the front row.

We interviewed a couple of the senior football players and one of the senior cheerleaders about their upcoming sports season.

 

 

Football:

Mitch Fraser #56

Parents: Anthony and Jeri Fraser

Years played: 7

Q. What’s your favorite football memory?

A. A game we called the “Mud Bowl” because the field was so muddy from the rain. It was cold but it was a lot of fun.

Q. What are you most looking forward to in your upcoming season?

A. Winning, and the playoffs.

Q. What have you and your team been doing to prepare for the first game?

A. Lots of conditioning.

Q. What’s your favorite football memory?

A. Becoming good friends with team mates.

Q. What are you most looking forward to in the upcoming season?

A. The competition and the fun.

Q. What have you and the team been doing to prepare for the first game?

A. We’ve been really focusing on our plays and defense, we’ve even went as far as watching films on it.

Q. How do you hope to improve this year?

A. Hoping to get to the playoffs.

Q. Any opponents you think are going to be tough this year?

A. Beaver Falls and Aliquippa.

Q. What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned from playing football?

A. Never say never, and your team mates are always there to support you no matter what.

Q. What will you miss about football after graduation?

A. Playing, the coaches, and my team mates- who I consider a family.

Q. Future plans?

A. I want to go to college for sports medicine.

Q. What has your favorite memory been over the years?

A. Making first year of varsity.

Q. What are you most looking forward to in the upcoming season?

A. Cheering at the football games.

Q. What have you and the team been doing to prepare for the first game?

A. Practicing four times a week.

Q. How do you hope the team will improve this year?

A. Hoping we are able to do things this year that we couldn’t do last year.

Q. Are there any opponents you think will be tough this year?

A. Beaver Falls and Aliquippa.

Q. What is the most important lesson you’ve learned from cheering?

A. Always take things seriously.

Q. What will you miss most about cheering when you graduate?

A. My friends.

Q. Future plans?

A. I want to be a pharmacist.
