Paint Your World Purple Relay For Life
Saturday, June 11, Noon – Midnight

It is finally here- Ellwood City’s Relay For Life at Helling Stadium starting at noon! Come and help us paint the world purple, enjoy the Star Spangled Banner sung by our own Civic Chorale, cheer the purple paint covering the world survivor lap, watch the tumbling of the Lincoln High School Cheerleaders, an exercise demonstration, a balloon release (weather permitting) after survivor lap and listen to the music by local bands from our community.

As always, luminary bags will be on sale up until 8 pm. The basket raffle (Chinese Auction) will be in full swing also until 8 p.m. with winners announced after the Luminary Service ending at 10:30 p.m. The Luminary service starts at 9:15 p.m. with music, poems and reading of the names. Teams throughout the day will be selling things and offering games to raise team money and our concession stand will have food and beverages to take care of the hungry participants. During the day after the survivor celebration, the children will have face painting and fun activities to do. Stop by and get the clues at the entrance as to where our butterfly will be hiding many times during the day then return it for your picture and a brief story to become part of a mural on the international level. Pray for lovely warm weather and come out to show your support of the battle against cancer. We are slowly winning the fight! Hope to see you there.
