Community Carnival to Benefit Brooke Moffat

The Ellwood City Providence Baptist Church will be hosting their 9th annual community carnival to benefit the Moffatt family after their 10 year old daughter Brooke was diagnosed in July 2016 with ALL – Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

The date of this year’s carnival is July 8, 2017 and will be held on the church grounds from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The church hosts this day to provide free fun for the community, to get the community involved with each other, help local businesses and many families within the community.

The event is free to the community. Entrance will be a household item such as a roll of paper towels, toilet paper, toothpaste, diapers, wipes, cleaning products, laundry soap, toiletries etc. The items collected will go to local families in need.

Everyone attending will receive a free hot dog, drink, and popcorn. All games, kid’s activities, and crafts will also be free. There will be other food for sale, various vendors, and a raffle offered at an additional cost for those in attendance. Each of these items will benefit our 2017 recipient.
