Ellwood City Resident Becomes Overnight Real Estate Mogul

After realizing the devastating financial effects all the local vacant properties would have on the Borough, Christina Hoffmeier of Hoffmier Holdings LLC, a family owned and operated company, was determined to make a difference in the local real estate community.

Hoffmeier Holdings LLC, an Ellwood City based real estate company, recently acquired 54 Single Family homes in and surrounding the Ellwood City Area propelling them to be one of the fastest growing, woman owned and operated real estate investment firms in Western Pennsylvania.

Sole Member of the company, Christina Hoffmeier, was born and raised in the Ellwood City Area and has been working as a local Realtor for the past 10 years.

After working for many struggling businesses and homeowners Christina noticed that there was no good solution for struggling individuals to get out from under the homes that were holding them back from moving towards their financials goals. Even worse, the effects of a homeowner walking away from their home due to mortgage or tax debt had started to take a toll on the city.

“Driving past these once beautiful homes in our town that now sit empty, uncared for and boarded up made me realize that there had to be a better solution. These abandoned homes are not just effecting our much needed tax revenue but they are hurting the marketability of the neighboring homes,” Hoffmeier stated.

Opening for business in August of 2016, Hoffmeier Holdings has set out to acquire and improve homes in the Ellwood City and surrounding areas that may be at risk of foreclosure or tax seizure. (Before and after photos below)

Hoffmeier Holdings works with the homeowners and lenders of these homes in order to stabilize payments, catch up on back taxes, repair the properties and ultimately rent or provide home ownership to local residents by way of the Pathway to Home Ownership Program.

The Pathway to Home Ownership Program allows applicants with less than perfect credit to apply a portion of their monthly rents to the purchase price of the home meanwhile the applicate receives the advice and guidance they need to improve their credit conditions and move forward to home ownership.

“I wanted to design a company that gives back to the community.  So many people are struggling to get their lives back on track after the economic down turn over the past few years. Our program allows our tenants to invest in their financial future by building equity in the homes they rent from our company.”

Hoffmeier Holdings will continue to acquire properties in Lawrence and Beaver Counties in 2017 with its primary focus on Ellwood City and surrounding townships. Currently Hoffmeier Holdings has received funding for the project by way of private investment notes from all over the world and provides its investment partners with a secure way to collect passive income secured by real estate assets.

Hoffmeier Holdings welcomes home sellers who are having trouble selling their homes to submit their properties for review on their website www.patemphousing.com.  Clients wishing to apply for The Pathway to Home Ownership Program can apply online or in person at their office located at 2425 River Road, Ellwood City, PA 16117 during business hours.
