UPDATED: 4/18 at 10a.m.

A manhunt has been warranted in several states after suspect, Steve Stephens, shot and killed an elderly man midday Easter Sunday and uploaded the killing to his Facebook page.

According to reports, Stephens, 37, of Cleveland Ohio, fatally shot random passerby 74-year-old Robert Godwin in a residential area east of Cleveland, uploaded footage of the shooting to his Facebook, and fled the scene.

Last night police stated the suspect “may be out of state,” and prompted locals in the surrounding states of Pennsylvania, New York, Indiana and Michigan to be vigilant on his whereabouts.

“He is considered armed and dangerous,” Cleveland Police Chief Calvin Williams told reporters.

The most recent update of his possible location – unconfirmed reports announced Stephens cellphone was pinged roughly 100 miles north east of the incident, in Erie, PA.

Officers suspect he has now turned his phone off to avoid being tracked.

Stephens is a black male who is 6-foot-1 and weighs 244 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark blue and gray or black striped polo shirt.

He was driving a white Ford Fusion with temporary license plates, Cleveland police said.

Stevens stated during the video, which went viral shortly after upload and remained on Facebook for nearly three hours before being removed, that his motive behind the killing was because of problems with a relationship with a woman named Joy Lane and other family members, saying no one took him and his problems seriously.

He later posted another video laughing about the incident and claiming that he had killed more than a dozen other people.

Police said there is no evidence of other shooting victims.

A $50,000 reward has been placed for any leads to the successful capture of Stephens.

For any information regarding Stephens whereabouts, contact local authorities.
