Martha Mancini, 94

margMrs. Martha Mancini, 94, of Ellwood City passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 in the Ellwood City Hospital.

Mrs. Mancini was born on April 25, 1922 in Ellwood City to the late Nick and Virginia Filoia Perazzoni. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1940. She was employed at Ellwood Oldsmobile Agency (McElwains) and worked in the accounting department of the United Tube Corporation. She was a devoted member of the Holy Redeemer Church and the Holy Redeemer Christian Mothers. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and gardening. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family and her grandchildren.

She is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law, Nick (Karen) Mancini, Joseph (Marilyn) Mancini, and Donald (Lynda) Mancini all of Ellwood City, her grandchildren, Nick Mancini, Dan Mancini, Melissa Mancini, Jody Mancini, and Jonathan Minnocci She is also survived by her sisters, Dena Ottobre, and Ann (John) Folino both of Ellwood City, her sisters-in-law Emma Naticchioni, Josephine Mancini, and Ruth Mancini, along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 68 years Joseph Mancini whom she married on August 25, 1945 and passed away on July 16, 2014, her sister, Leda Cirelli, and her brothers-in-law Lawrence Cirelli, Warren Ottobre, Fred Mancini, Hank Mancini, and Earl Naticchioni.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am in the Holy Redeemer Church with Father Mark Thomas officiating. Entombment will follow at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Resurrection Mausoleum. Members of the Holy Redeemer Christian Mothers are asked to meet at the church on Saturday by 9:50 am to form an honor guard.

Those attending the funeral mass are asked to meet at the funeral home on Saturday by 9:20 am. The family extends their gratitude to the Ellwood City Hospital and Dr. Mary Ann DiBiagio for their excellent care. Memorial contributions in Mrs. Mancini’s name may be made to the Holy Redeemer Angel Fund.
