Mrs. Anna C. Amadio, 80, of Ellwood City passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2016 in the Butler Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Amadio was born on June 14, 1936 in Ellwood City to the late Joseph A. and Eda Bettoni DeLoia. She is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1954. Anna had worked for the Ellwood City Candy Co. as the book keeper, and presently for Malik Medical services as the receptionist. She is a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish and the Christian Mothers of the Holy Redeemer Parish. She had served as a committee member for her high school class reunions for many years. Anna enjoyed playing cards, knitting, cooking, baking, and most of all spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Staci (Darren) Post of Cranberry Twp., her son, Kevin (Lorrie) Amadio of Imperial, her grandchildren, Alyssa and Janelle Amadio, Aubrey and Dustin Post, her sisters-in-law, Lil DeLoia, Shirley DeLoia, and Bette Baney DeLoia all of Ellwood City and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Theodore P. Amadio whom she married on June 10, 1957 and passed away on November 29, 2000, and her brothers, Louis, James, and John DeLoia who passed away the same day as Anna.

Visitation for Anna and her brother John will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services. A mass of Christian burial for her and her brother John will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am in the Holy Redeemer Church with Father Zachary Galiyas officiating. Interment will follow at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Members of the Holy Redeemer Christian Mothers are asked to meet at the church on Wednesday by 9:50 am to form an honor guard.
