Margaret E. “Peggy” Krause, 67, of New Castle passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born March 25, 1951 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Charles J. and Velma E. Seybert Edinger. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Krause and two brothers, Robert and DeWayne Edinger.
Peggy attended Riverside High School. She retired from Personal Touch Health Care where she was a home health aide. She was a member of the Grace Harvest Church in Leesburg and also attended First Church of God in Ellwood City. She enjoyed crocheting and crafts. Her most cherished time was spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include a son, Craig (Betsy) Welsh of Grove City; two daughters, Patricia (Bill) Quigley of New Castle, Betsy (Charles) Johnston of Ellwood City; two sisters, Jenny (Herb) Mitchell of Beaver Falls, Bonnie Gettys of Muncie, Indiana; four brothers, Donald (Janet) Edinger of Koppel, Tom (Jenny) Edinger of Wampum, Dean (Laurie Jacobs) Edinger of Ellwood City, Dennis (Kathy) Edinger of Ellwood City; eight grandchildren, and four step grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday October 26 from 3 pm until the time of the funeral service at 6 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum. Pastor Phil Conklin will officiate the service. Final interment will take place in Graceland Cemetery.
