Karen M. Labor, 61

Karen M. Labor, 61 of Ellwood City passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at her residence.

Karen was born on October 30, 1956 in Ellwood City to the late Donald J. Labor Sr. and Carmella Maietta Labor. She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1974, and from the Community College of Beaver County with a degree in Business Management. She also graduated from Geneva College with a degree in Business. For many years Karen worked at various dental offices in the area as an office manager. She also worked as a Licensed Insurance Broker. Karen was a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish. She enjoyed reading, flower gardening, and loved her dog Daffy.

Karen is survived by her sisters Toni (Don) Rutter of Perry Twp., Linda Labor of Ellwood City, Patty (Rod) Howman of North Sewickley Twp., and Mikki Labor of Ellwood City, her niece Michele (Sam A.) Teolis of Perry Twp., her great niece Carmella Teolis, and her great nephews Domenic Teolis and Anthony Teolis.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Donald Labor, Jr., and Phillip Labor, Sr..

As per Karen’s wishes there will not be a public visitation or service. Interment will be at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery. The funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services.

Memorial contributions in Karen’s name may be made to the Human Society.
