Mary Beth Dunning, 57

Mary Beth Dunning, 57 of Ellwood City passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 in West Penn Hospital following a courageous battle with Leukemia.

Born in Ellwood City on September 4, 1960, Mary Beth was the daughter of the late Thomas R. and Rose Ann Sulia Dunning.  Mary Beth started her career at Duquesne Light now known as First Energy as an electrical engineer in 1982.  Over the past 35 years she worked in various positions.  Her most recent position she held was the Supply Chain Manager.  She was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish in Ellwood City.  Mary Beth was a 1978 graduate of Lincoln High School and a 1982 graduate of Geneva College.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her trips to Las Vegas with her mother.

Mary Beth is survived by her sister, Barbara (Jeff) Jinar of Ellwood City and brothers, Thomas A. (Anne) Dunning of Rochester, NY and Robert M. (Suzanne) Dunning of Rolesville, NC and five nieces and two nephews, Sara and Jason Praster, Lindsay Jinar, Lauren Dunning, Marybeth Dunning, James and Codi Dunning, Cory Dunning and Marissa Dunning and a grandnephew Rylan Praster.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Holy Redeemer Church on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 10 AM with Fr. Mark L. Thomas

Interment will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery

Friends may call at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport on Friday from 5 to 8 PM.
