Ellwood City Area Public Library Activities for Week of Feb. 5th, 2018

Activities taking place at the Ellwood City Area Public Library include the following:

Wednesday, February 7, at 10:00 a.m. — “Coloring for Adults,” a weekly program that is free and open to the public. “Coloring for Adults” is a program designed to help reduce the stresses of everyday life. Everyone is welcome, so call the library at 724-758-6458 for more information.

Wednesday, February 7, at 3:00 p.m. – Creative Writing Workshop for students in 7th grade and up. The members meet twice each month to share their work and discuss writing tips and techniques. Call the library for more information.

Wednesday, February 7, at 6:30 p.m. – Evening Book Discussion Group for Adults. The group will discuss the book, “The Usual Rules,” by Joyce Maynard. New members are welcome, so  call the library for more information.

Thursday, February 8, at 3:00 p.m. – “Just 4 Girls,” a book discussion group for girls in 9th grade and up. The group meets once each month for book discussion and pizza. New members are welcome, so call the library for more information.

Thursday, February 8, at 6:00 p.m. — Adult Knitting Group whose members meet weekly to work on individual projects. New members are welcome, so call the library for more information.

A Valentine’s Day Family Night Party is planned for preschoolers and early elementary aged children on Tuesday evening, February 13. Featured will be a variety of fun-filled activities. Since this is a family night event, all children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is requested, so call the library for more information.

“Movie Night for Adults” will resume its normal monthly schedule on Wednesday, February 28. Call the library for more information, for the rest of the spring dates or to discover the titles of the films to be shown this spring.

A Birthday Party for Dr. Seuss will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 1, for toddlers and preschool children. Call now for more information.

The spring session of Family Laptime and Preschool Story Time will start the week of March 6. Call the library now for more information.
