Ellwood City Area Public Library Activities for Week of January 15, 2018

Activities taking place at the Ellwood City Area Public Library include the following:

The library will be closed on Monday, January 15, in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday. Normal hours will resume on Tuesday, January 16.

Tuesday, January 16, at 1:30 p.m. – Afternoon Book Discussion Group for Adults. The group will discuss the book, “Landfall,” by Ellen Urbani. Call the library at 724-758-6458 for more information.

Wednesday, January 17, at 10:00 a.m. — “Coloring for Adults,” a weekly program that is free and open to the public. “Coloring for Adults” is a program designed to help reduce the stresses of everyday life. Everyone is welcome, so call the library for more information.

Thursday, January 18, at 3:00 p.m. – “Food 4 Thought,” a book discussion group for students in 9^th grade and up. The group meets monthly for book discussion and pizza. New members are welcome, so call the library for more information.

Thursday, January 18, at 6:00 p.m. — Adult Knitting Group whose members meet weekly to work on individual projects. New members are welcome, so call the library for more information.

A Valentine’s Day Family Night Party is planned for preschoolers and early elementary aged children on Tuesday evening, February 13. Featured will be a variety of fun-filled activities. Since this is a family night event, all children must be accompanied by an adult. Mark the date now and watch this column for more information.

“Movie Night for Adults” will not be held in January, but will resume its normal schedule in February. Call the library for more information or to discover the titles of the films to be shown this spring.
