Lawrence Pasquale, 91

Lawrence Pasquale, 91 of Townwood Rd., North Sewickley Township passed away at the Ellwood City Medical Center on Monday, November 13, 2017.

Born in Ellwood City on June 9, 1926 Lawrence was the son on the late Guiseppe and Maria Purinna Pasquale.  He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Theressa Piacesi on April 1, 1983.  Lawrence retired from the Ellwood Works of US Steel where he worked in the foundry.  After US Steel closed he worked at the B&W.  Lawrence also helped construct both the Zelienople Community Mausoleum and the Slippery Rock Cemetery Mausoleum.  He was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish and the Special Activities Group of the Church.  Lawrence was a Veteran of the Army serving in Europe during World War II.  He was a member of the Ellwood City VFW and enjoyed the outdoors.

Lawrence enjoyed spending time with his great grandson, Owen Robert Dupirick.  He is also survived by his 2 children, Lawrence D. and Joyce Pasquale of Ormond Beach, FL and Elaine M. Pasquale of Ellwood City, 2 grandchildren, Larry D. Pasquale, III of Salt Lake City, UT and Rebecca and Greg Dupirick of Chesapeake, VA, 3 sisters, Jennie Bartolomeo of Ellport, Josephine and Thomas Bunney of Ellwood City and Rose Hahn of New Castle and 2 brothers, Albert and Nancy Pasquale of Ellport and Joseph and Kathy Pasquale of Zephyrhillls, FL.

Besides of parents and wife, Lawrence was preceded in death by his sister, Antonette Pogozelec and 2 brothers, Theodore and Anthony Pasquale.

Friends may call at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Holy Redeemer Church on Thursday at 10 AM by Fr. Mark L. Thomas.  Entombment will follow in Zelienople Mausoleum.
