Dolores “Dolly” Sansalone, 84

Mrs. Dolores “Dolly ” Reda Sansalone, 84, formerly of Ellwood City and Villa Maria, PA passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the Heritage in Findlay, Ohio.

Mrs. Sansdalone was born on June 15, 1933 in Ellwood City to the late Louis and Elizabeth Frisk Reda. She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1951. Dolly had worked at the National Plumbing and Fixtures Company in Ellwood City, the Brickyard in Eastvalle, and the Babcock & Wilcox Steel Mill in Beaver Falls as a clerk. For many years she taught CCD for St. James Catholic Church in Villa Marie.

She is survived by her step-daughter Sandra King of Lakewood, Ohio, her step-sons Keith (Lisa) Sansalone of Findlay, Ohio, and Darryl Sansalone of Newfield, New Jersey, her 5 step-grandchildren, and her 3 step-great-grandchildren.  Dolly is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dominic A. Sansalone whom she married on July 6, 1974 and passed away on September 24, 2005, her sisters Rose Simon, Mary Martino, Connie Ernst, and Angie Staples, and her brothers Ralph Reda, Dominic Reda, Joseph Reda, and  Ralph & Pasquale “Chuck” Reda in childhood.

Visitation will be held n Friday from 6-8 pm in the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services.

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am in the Holy Redeemer Church with Father Mark Thomas officiating. Interment will be at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

Memorial contributions in Dolly’s name may be made to the Holy Redeemer Angel Fund.
