Wolverine Football Players Face Suspension After Incident Last Friday

Some Ellwood City football players will be facing suspension after a brawl last Friday night following the football game versus Valley.

According to an article on New Castle News, Principal Kirk Lape stated the school was notified by the PIAA that players had been disqualified from the contest with Valley and will now be required to sit out Friday’s home game against Beaver.

Lape, athletic director Curt Agostinelli, and head coach Nick Hand will be meeting with Valley and WPIAL officials to further discuss the incident.

At this time it is unclear which individuals have been suspended.
