Lincoln High Grad Sparks BC3 to Golf Victories for Fourth Time in Row

(Greensburg, PA)  — Tyler Good, a 2017 Lincoln High graduate in his fourth appearance with the Butler County Community College golf team, shot a 2-over-par 74 Friday to lead BC3 for the fourth consecutive match and to victories against Westmoreland County Community College and Penn State-Fayette at Valley Green Golf and Country Club.

 BC3 (12-1) posted a score of 311 on the 6,166-yard course in topping Westmoreland (327) and Penn State-Fayette (330).

 In addition to Friday, Good was also BC3’s medalist on Sept. 24 by shooting a 4-over 76 over the Community College of Allegheny County-Boyce at Pittsburgh North Golf Club, Bakerstown; a 9-over 81 on Sept. 19 against CCAC-Boyce and Westmoreland at Lake Arthur Golf Club near Butler; and a 4-over 76 on Sept. 15 against Westmoreland at The Links at Spring Church, Apollo.

 Noah Morgan, a graduate of Allegheny-Clarion Valley High, fired a 75 for BC3 on Friday. Anthony Lewis (Butler) added a 79, Matt Benson (Shenango) had an 83, Michael Rozzi (Neshannock) shot an 85, and Luke Ostermeyer (Laurel) posted an 88.

 BC3 ends its regular season with a home match at noon Tuesday at Lake Arthur Golf Club against CCAC-Boyce, Westmoreland, Penn State-New Kensington and Penn State-Fayette.

 The Pioneers on Saturday and Sunday will attempt to win their fifth straight Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference title at The Links at Spring Church, Apollo.
