Ellwood City Fall Fest: 6,000 People Expected to Attend

If you thought last year’s Fall Fest was crowded, this year is expected to be even more populous according to Borough Manager, Bob Villella.

“This year there is expected to be at least 600 vehicles at the car cruise and upwards of 6,000 in attendance. That’s an increase of nearly 2,500 people since last year,” Villella stated.

Since the start of the event only a few years ago, it has been growing in popularity very quickly, attracting families and individuals from all around.

This year the event will feature a soapbox car derby, live entertainment, food and craft vendors, the farmers market, an escape room, Lion’s Club fountain ribbon cutting, kids activities, face-painting, and much more.

The Historical Society will also be hosting an Ellwood City Birthday celebration with cake, refreshments, prizes and free old photos!

The fest will start at 11a.m. and end at 5p.m. however 4th-10th Street of Lawrence Ave. will be closed starting around 7a.m. to prepare for the event.

The weather is expected to be cooperative with a high temperature expected to be no more than 70 degrees.

Here’s the official Facebook event.
