Albert D. Ierullo, 88

Mr. Albert D. Ierullo, 88, of Ellwood City passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the UPMC Jameson Memorial Hospital.

Albert was born on November 11, 1928 in Ellwood City to the late Domenico and Mildred Fera Ierullo. He had attended Lincoln High School and is a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish. Albert served with the U.S. Army from February 28, 1951 with the 78th quartermaster base depot company until his discharge on February 12, 1953 and held the rank of Private First Class. He worked for many years at the U.S. Steel tube mill in Ellwood City and later in Aliquippa as a millwright. He also had worked at the Del Mar Golf Course as a starter and at Zona Tours as a maintenance man. He was a member of the MOOSE Lodge #93, the Sons of Italy #608, and the Delmar Golf Course. He enjoyed fishing and golfing.

Mr. Ierullo is survived by his wife Vaughn “Vonnie” Racz Ierullo whom he married on May 23, 1983, his daughter Jennifer Ierullo, and his sister Rose Bova of San Francisco, CA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Joseph Ierullo.

As per Albert’s wishes there will not be a public visitation or service. The funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services.

Memorial contributions in Albert’s name may be made to the Holy Redeemer Social Services.
