PHOTOS: Holy Redeemer’s 51st Annual Bazaar First Night

The Holy Redeemer 5lst Annual Bazaar started Wednesday, August 2 and will run through Saturday August 5.

The excitement and fun begin at 6:00 p.m. nightly and runs until 10:00 p.m. on the Holy Redeemer Catholic Center grounds.

The Bazaar features entertainment for the whole family. ‘Creating memorable events were the new inflatable bounces for young children who really had an enjoyable time. Additionally, there was the popular “Kiddie Land” and face painting for the kids that was a huge hit. Adults’ participation in a variety of new games as well as past favorite games was great’ said Laurie Nocera, co-chairperson of the bazaar.

As usual good weather brought out a hungry crowd that patronized our popular Food Booth, serving a full menu, including the original and best-selling pepperoni puffs’ The “Outside Kitchen” opens daily at 4:00 p.m. thru 10:00 p.m. The menu features an excellent variety of sandwiches which include meatball, fish, sausage, eggplant and kielbasa/kraut sandwiches along with pizza and pizza greens that were enjoyed in the dining tent with entertainment provided by D-Major.

A Pierogi and Kielbasa dinner will be featured on Thursday night, Friday’s dinner will be BBQ Ribs and Lamb on the Rod dinner for Saturday night.

Highlight of the bazaar will be the Summer Cash Give-away’s marquee prize of $25,000 that will be given away on Saturday night.

Wednesday night’s winner of the 50/50 raffle was Darla Portugallo.
