As part of the Wayne Township monthly meeting, the street paving bids were reviewed and a motion was made to award the lowest bidder, Youngblood Paving, as the contracted company.
The township received a total of five bids (see below), with Youngblood being the lowest, offering $18.50/’. The company will be paving 2,300′ of Old Pitts Road for $42,550.00 and 3,000′ of Camp Allegheny for $55,500.00 for the total amount of $98,050.00.
Finishing Camp Allegheny was put on the agenda to finalize in 2018.
The township also received a grant for Slippery Rock Drive in the amount of $7,000.
