Leonard A. Agnello, 80

Leonard A. “Bobo” Agnello, 80, of Kittanning (formerly of Wampum) was called home by his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 6, 2017.

“Bo” was a Veteran of the US Army, serving in Frankfurt, Germany. He was a cottage parent, barber instructor, and bounty hunter all at George Jr. Republic, At George Jr, he also coached and instructed the drill team, winning many competitions. There were many other occupations and he owned several businesses thereafter, but the business he enjoyed the most was the amusement business. He was a ride owner/operator and concessionaire for over 50 years, traveling to fairs and festivals in many states feeding several, his unforgettable sausage sandwich and the best fresh squeezed lemonade there was! Bo was always spreading laughter and joy wherever he went!

Left to mourn his passing are his loving companion of 20 years, Gloria Kunselman… To whom we will be forever grateful to for the extraordinary love, care, and dedication she game to him…his former wife and friend, Jean Mars of New Beaver Boro; two daughters, Lisa Douglas of Wampum and Jeannie Kunselman of DuBois; two sons, David Agnello of Wampum and John Kunselman (Kelly) of Brookville; two brothers, Joseph of Anita and Richard Agnello (Nancy) of Anita; brother-in-law Bill Anderson of Texas; 14 grandchildren, Jordan, David and Michelle Agnello, Jonna, Kaylee, Brenden, Cody and Payton Kunselman, Alex Peace, Zac Dinger, Josi and Tessa Mansfield and Holly and Megan Cress; and two great-granddaughters, Raelynn and Kinsley.

He was preceded in death by his son, Lenny Agnello; his parents; four sisters; and three brothers.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, June 13 from noon until the time of the funeral service at 3 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, Main St. Wampum. Pastor Mike Wimer will officiate the services. Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery.
