Bradley Neil Beachem, 46, of New Castle died unexpectedly May 23, 2017 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

Born October 20, 1970 in Ellwood City to the late James D. and Susan L. Gallaher-Beachem. He attended Lincoln High School in Ellwood City. He graduated from Butler Beauty Academy in 1992. Brad was a top notch Hairstylist. He had many talents, loved to cook, and dabble in interior decorating, gardening, and bird watching. Everyone loved his witty sense of humor and his kind, generous, caring soul. He truly was a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle, life partner, and friend. Bradley Neil, you will be sadly missed. Never good bye but until we meet again  see you “Later”  Brad. We love you.

Brad is survived by his life partner Johnny Burkes, 5 brothers and 4 sisters-in-law, Jesse and Linda Beachem of Zelienople, Mark and Cathy Beachem of Fombell, Richard and Lynette Beachem of New Castle, Raymond Beachem of New Castle,  and James and Brandi Beachem of Ellwood City. He is also survived by 5 sisters and 5 brothers-in-law, Bonnie and Cody Freeman of Cranberry Twp., Becky and Ron Lagana of Perry Twp., Kim and Jim Brandt of Kennerdell, Nora and Timothy Boots of Ellwood City, and Amy and Robert Beachem-Hall of Colorado Springs, CO, 20 nieces and nephews, and 16 great nieces and nephews. Also his rescue dog Shamin that loved him so very much.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Michael Merle “Shep” Beachem,  his niece Brooke Thompson, his nephew Waylan Beachem, and his brother-in-law William Thompson II.

In keeping with Brad’s funeral wishes, a private, immediate family only, viewing will be held at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations for funeral expenses can be sent to James Beachem , 2779 Grandview Rd., Ellwood City, Pa 16117.

A pot-luck “Celebration of Bradley Neil’s Life” will be held at his brother Richard’s home at 2012 Millbridge Rd., New Castle, Pa 16101, on Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 2-4 pm. All friends and family are welcome to attend. Please bring a memory to share. If you have any pictures of yourself with Brad will you please send them to johnnyb8@comcast.net, so that a memory DVD might be created.
