Community College of Beaver County Appoints Two New Board Members to Foundation

Community leaders Mark Elder, Executive Director of Midland’s Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center, and Harry Kunselman, Esq., have recently been named to the CCBC Foundation’s Board of Directors.

Monaca, PA – Community College of Beaver County (CCBC) today announced the appointment of Mark Elder and Harry F. Kunselman, Esq. to the CCBC Foundation Board of Directors. Comprised of volunteer business and community leaders who support the strategic plan and advancement of the College, the CCBC Foundation Board is charged with enhancing the educational environment and opportunities for students and faculty of CCBC.

Mark Elder is the Executive Director of Midland’s Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center (LPPAC). Elder is responsible for nurturing strong working relationships with artistic directors, staff, local and national partners, and the Board of Directors to successfully implement the Center’s ongoing activities and to ensure that LPPAC’s fiscal responsibilities, operations, fundraising, sales, marketing, education, technology, and programmatic strategies are effectively implemented.

Harry F. Kunselman is a shareholder with the Beaver and Pittsburgh offices of the law firm of Strassburger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky. A member of the prestigious Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County, and named a 2014, 2015 and 2016 Pennsylvania Super Lawyer, Kunselman is experienced in a wide range of litigation matters and commercial disputes. He was born and raised in Beaver County; serves as Chair of the Beaver County Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee; is President-Elect of the Rotary Club of Beaver; and has been involved in other Beaver County boards, projects and activities.

CCBC Foundation board members also include: Chairman George M. Pacinda, Vice President of Philanthropy, Lincoln Learning Solutions; Vice Chairman Jeff Liberati, CEO, MedExpress; Secretary Linda Homyk, Vice President of Patient Services, Heritage Valley Health Systems; Treasurer Harold Reed, Esq., Reed, Luce, Tosh, Wolford & Douglas; Dr. Chris Reber, CCBC President; Frederick Retsch, CCBC Trustee; Andy Monte, Owner, American Structures and Patios; Mark Peterson, President, Sound Ideas Media and Owner, WBVP/WMBA; Geoff Taylor, CEO, c3 Controls; and Daniel Zeljak, Pilot, American Airlines/US Airways.
