PHOTO: Senior Receives Ellwood Area Education Association Scholarship

Lincoln High student, Joseph Cortez, received a $1,500 scholarship from the Ellwood Area Education Association.

The scholarship is funded every year by contributions from the teachers in the Ellwood City School District. The recipient is selected based on a combination of grades and SAT scores.

After graduation, Joseph plans to study engineering at Penn State University, University Park.
