Angeline J. Eckman, 85

wm (3)Mrs. Angeline J. Eckman, 85, of Ellwood City, formerly of Chippewa Twp., passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017 in her residence.

Mrs. Eckman was born on May 31, 1931 in Ellwood City to the late Rocca A. and Theresa Choff Manzo, Sr.. She is a graduate of Lincoln High School, and a former member of St. Monica’s Catholic Church. She loved to go dancing, traveling, and being with her family.

Mrs. Eckman is survived by her daughter, Denise Sebastian of Erie, her son, Matthew Eckman of Big Beaver Boro, her grandchildren, Ian Sebastian and Thomas Sebastian, and her brothers, Rocco (Betty) Manzo of Washington, Pa, and Nicholas (Kathy) Manzo of Ellwood City. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George Eckman whom she married on May 2, 1953 and passed away on March 21, 2006, her son Gregory Eckman, her sister, Mary Jane Suppa, and her brothers, Donald Manzo, and Martin Manzo.

A private visitation will be held for the family on Tuesday in the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am in the Holy Redeemer Church with Father Zachary Galiyas officiating. Interment will be at the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Beaver Falls. Memorial contributions in Mrs. Eckman’s name may be made to the Ellwood City Library.
