An investigation is ongoing after Bradley Grinnen, a graduate of Lincoln Junior-Senior High School was found deceased Sunday morning around 11:22a.m. in a dorm room on the campus of Waynesburg University, the college he was attending.
After graduating high school playing both football and wrestling, the 21 year old furthered his football career performing as a junior defensive lineman for the university.
The Rev. Jim Tinnemeyer, university chaplain, sent an email to students and staff on Sunday announcing the loss and vigil of the fellow student.
“We are deeply saddened to inform you of the loss of one of our students, Bradley Grinnen. He was loved by many here…”
Many are mourning the loss of the student, and the college has ensured counselors would be available for grief counseling if needed.
Although police have stated the death does not seem suspicious, the cause of death is not immediately known.
Updates to follow.
