Mrs. June A. Hudson, 89, of Ellwood City passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017 in the Ellwood City Hospital. June was born on June 13, 1927 in Ellwood City to the late John and Ruby Butler Murphy. She is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1945. June had worked at the Ellwood City Glass Plant, Blair Personal Care Home, Cully’s Restaurant, and the Hazel Manor as a cook. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and going to casinos.
She is survived by her sons, John (Judy) Swesey of Greensburg, and Gary (Sandy) Hudson of Beaver Falls, and her grandchildren, Jessica Swesey, and Whitney Swesey. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dave Claytor, her sisters, Louis Weisz and Roma Hinkle, and her brothers, Leo Murphy, Larry Murphy, and Wetzel Murphy.
As per June’s wishes there will not be a public visitation or service. Inurnment will be at the Locust Grove Cemetery. The funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services.
