Mrs. Carol Ann Buzzelli, 71, of Perry Twp. passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017 in her residence.
Mrs. Buzzelli was born on April 24, 1945 in Ellwood City to the late Robert and Sara Houk Lambert. She is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1963. Carol had worked at Loccisano’s Grocery Store, and presently at Giant Eagle in Franklin Twp. in the customer service department. She is a member of the West Minister United Presbyterian Church in New Brighton where she served as a deacon and helped with the soup kitchen. Carol also did missionary work through her church. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, shopping, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Krista (Todd) Davis of Perry Twp., her son, Jeremy (Leah) Buzzelli of Avon, Ohio, her grandchildren, Jaxson Davis, Emilia Buzzelli, and Olivia Buzzelli, and her brother, Robert (Linda) Lambert of Perry Twp. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Robert M. Buzzelli whom she married on May 27, 1967 and passed away on August 5, 2016.
A Memorial Service for Carol will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am at the West Minister United Presbyterian Church in New Brighton with Pastor Jordan Rimmer officiating. Inurnment will be at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. The funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services. Memorial contributions in Carol’s name may be made to the Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Rd., Pittsburgh, Pa 15237.
