Corona D’Italia Lodge #807 January Meeting

Corona D’Italia Lodge #807 held their monthly business meeting on Wednesday, January 11 at 5p.m. at Pizza Joe’s.

President, Clemmy Sirimarco presided over the session that began with a pizza luncheon served by Sentinel Lois DiFrichia and Mary Jane Folino. Treasurer Louise Vitullo presented the financial reports and she noted that she is collecting the 2017 year dues that are payable to the lodge. It is also requested that any membership changes such as addresses, phone numbers, beneficiary information, and contact persons be provided by informing Vitullo or Sirimarco.

The 2017 Corona Scholarship applications were reviewed and will be available to eligible high school seniors at the guidance offices. The Lodge will award two $500.00 scholarships to a child or grandchild of active members of Corona D’Italia #807 or Sons of Italy #608. Orator, Valerie Valentino, chairman, DiFrischia and Trustee Marlene LaCava are the scholarship committee. They may be contacted for any information.

Open discussion provided plans for a Valentine’s party to be held at the next monthly meeting on February 8, at 5p.m. at Pizza Joe’s/ A $1.00 gift exchange and social games will be observed.

The session closed with a social conducted by Emcee, Mary Quintanilla and DiFrischia.
