Donald F. Fazenbaker, 86, of New Beaver Boro passed away Friday, January 13, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Beaver following a short illness.
Born May 10, 1930 in Westernport, MD, he was the son of the late Ernest S. and Florence E. Warnick Fazenbaker . He was married for 67 years to Althea P. “Red” Green Fazenbaker as they were married February 12, 1949. She survives.
Don retired on August 14, 1986 following 35 1/2 years of service at Babcox and Wilcox, Koppel Works where he was a crane man. He was a member of the West Pittsburgh United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife, Althea “Red”, survivors include a son, Donald F. Fazenbaker Jr. of Beaver; daughter, Cathy Fazenbaker of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and three brothers.
He was preceded in death by a son, Michael A. Fazenbaker in 2006, four brothers and a sister.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 21 at 11 am at the West Pittsburgh United Methodist Church. His pastor, Rev. Todd Davis will officiate the service.
