dengelRosalind K. Dengel, 61, of Dengel Lane, Franklin Township passed away in the Emergency Room at the Ellwood Hospital on Thursday, January 5, 2017.

Born in Beaver Falls on January 8, 1955, Rosalind was the daughter of the late Walter and Irene Luchka Fidura. She married Larry Dengel on September 6, 1975. She was a member of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Ellport. A graduate of Lincoln High School and the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy, Rosalind worked at Holiday for Beauty in Koppel and later out of her home. She lived for her family. She loved to cook and she also enjoyed gardening and flowers. Rosalind also loved to spend time at camp sitting on her porch, watching the river go by. But most of all, she loved to spend time with her granddaughter, Ashlyn.

Rosalind is survived by her husband, Larry Dengel, her son, Derek Dengel of Franklin Township, her granddaughter, Ashlyn Dengel, her sister and brother-in-law, Helene and Leo Wisbith of Ellwood City and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons; Preston and Lawrence Walter Dengel.

Friends will be received on Sunday, January 8th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport. A Panachida service will take place at the funeral home at 8:45 PM.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 9th at 10:00 AM at St. Elias Orthodox Church with Fr. John Schmidt. Interment will follow in Lillyville Church Cemetery.
