Corona D’Italia Lodge December Meeting

Corona D’Italia Lodge #807 officers and members held their annual Christmas Dinner on Wednesday, Dec. 7, at 5p.m. at the Wolverine Restaurant. Treasurer Louise Vitullo and her member daughters, Patti Kuhn and Maura Greco, provided reservation information and greeted all arrivals. Sentinnel Lois DiFrischia directed seating to tables decorated with Christmas trees, electric votive lights at every place setting, candy and a 2017 planner, all provided by orator, Valerie Valentino.

Emcee, Mary Quintanilla, welcomed and extended holiday greetings to all in attendance. She introduced President Clemmy Sirimarco, who also voiced her Christmas greetings, recognizing Vice President Ann Butchelli, Vitullo, DiFrishia, Valentino, Quintanilla, and Trustees Patty Regna and LaCava who served as the committee for the party. She expressed her gratitude for all their support and work all year long. Quintanilla called on Regna who voiced the invocation and led a moment of silence in honor of all deceased members and family and all of our military personnel.

The sit-down dinners of stuffed pork chop or stuffed chicken breast with all sides was served by the staff, followed by dessert of Italian pastries. Emcee and Quintanilla opened up the social program with Regna, presenting Sirimarco with a gift from all. Sirimarco expressed her appreciation as Quintanilla photographed each person in attendance. The photos will be shown at the next monthly meeting. A 50-50 drawing was held by Kuhn and won by Valentino. Winner of the candy jar game was Christine Butchelli. Winner of the door prize by Valentino was DiFrischia. Quintanilla then led the group in several Christmas theme name, word and action games, thoroughly enjoyed by all. Valentino, Quintanilla and DiFrischia conduced social games that ended the evening’s session.

The next monthly meeting will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 11, at 5p.m. at Pizza Joe’s. Treasurer Vitullo will collect 2017 yearly dues.
