A Non-White Christmas in Ellwood City

Santa’s reindeer might have a hard time sledding his sleigh through the snow in Ellwood for Christmas – since it appears there will likely be none.

According to the weather forecast, high temperatures for the weekend are expected to be around 50 degrees, with lows around 32. The temperature on Monday may peak at a high of almost 60 degrees!

Ellwoodians are not the only demographic experiencing higher-than-normal temperatures around Christmas, according to The Washington Post, the North Pole is alarmingly 36 degrees warmer than normal at this time of the year.

Anyone anticipating snow for the holidays will have to wait another couple weeks to when snow is expected to fall again.

Regardless if you’re excited or upset about the lack of snow, we want to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday, and remember to send us your best holiday festive photos for a chance to have them featured in a gallery on our site!
