Kathleen J. Bartholomew, 80, of North Beaver Twp. passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Heritage Valley, Beaver Hospital following a short illness.
Born October 12, 1936 in Beaver Falls , she was the daughter of the late Frederick A. and Anna Laurene Sheets. She was married for 61 years to Richard J. Bartholomew who survives.
Kathleen enjoyed farming and gardening. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her most cherished time was spent with family.
In addition to her husband, Richard, survivors include three daughters, Corinne (William) Woods of Colonial Heights, Virginia, Colleen Farone of Bessemer, Barbara Yasher of Mt. Jackson; son, Nelson Bartholomew of North Beaver Twp.; eight grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Daniel in 1990 and a granddaughter, Brenda Woods Dando in 2007. The last of her family, Kathleen was also preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday December 9 from 5 to 8 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 am. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
