Joseph C. DiFrischia, 59

Mr. Joseph C. DiFrischia, 59, of Sharon passed away in Mercer County.

Joseph was born on August 6, 1957 in Rochester to the late Joseph M. Difrischia and Mary DiFrischia of Chippewa Twp.. He is a member of the Blackhawk High School class of 1975 and the Chippewa United Methodist Church. He had served with the United States Air Force from January 23, 1976 until his discharge on November 1, 1976 as a security specialist. A Barber by trade, Joe had been the owner and operator of Thorton Hall Barber Shop in Sharon for many years. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, watching WWE Wrestling, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Joe is survived by his mother Mary, his daughter, Brie Hilton of Sharon, his sons, Bradley DiFrischia of Tennessee, and Bryan DiFrischia of Greenville, his 5 grandchildren, and his sisters, Debra (Barry) Balmer of Big Beaver Boro, and Patricia M. Connell of Indiana, Pa. He was preceded in death by his father, and his wife, Melissa Ann Hilton DiFrischia. A private graveside service was held for the family on Wednesday at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Perry Twp.

Military honors where conducted by the Veterans Honor Guard. The funeral arrangements where entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services.
