Rebecca Dawn Chappell, 66 of Sunset Blvd., Ellwood City passed away at her residence on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 following an extended illness.
Born in Ellwood City on December 8, 1949, Rebecca was the daughter of the late Donald Wiley and Marilyn Jean Tullis Willey of Erie, PA. Rebecca was a 1968 graduate of Lincoln High School and attended BCCC. She was a homemaker who was devoted to taking care of her family. Rebecca enjoyed home decorating and reading.
Besides her mother, Rebecca is survived by her husband, William L. Chappell whom she married August 17, 1974, 3 daughter and son-in-laws, Shawn and Brian Preston of Warrenton, VA, Keri and Sean Madden of Beaver and Erin and Josh Carlson of Fort Mill, SC, 5 grandchildren, Hannah and Cara Preston, Alexandra Madden, Blake and Remey Carlson, a sister, Pam Neff of Erie and a special cousin, Debi Alborn.
The family would like to thank Melinda Pennington, Pam Keifer and Beth Duncan for the care they provided.
There will be no calling hours, a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory.
