Child Friendly Halloween To-Do’s Around Lawrence County

Haunted Hayride: Riverside Memorial Stadium

When: Thursday October 6 (7p.m.-9p.m.), Saturday October 8, and Sunday October 9. Non-spooky hay rides are from 6p.m.-dark, spooky hayrides start at dark -10p.m.

Non-spooky tickets are $5 and spooky tickets are $7. All proceeds benefit Riverside’s ROAR foundation.

“Night at the Zoo”: Living Treasures

When: Every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in October from 7-11pm, weather permitting.

Spooky Stories: Old Stone House in Slippery Rock

When: Friday October 28 and Saturday October 29, 5:30p.m.- 8:30p.m.

Tickets cost $5 for adults and $3 for children, but no more than $15 for a family.  All proceeds support the Old Stone House and its community programs.

Ellwood’s Halloween Parade: Lawrence Avenue

When: Saturday, October 29 at 3:30.  The parade will start at the intersection of 4th Street and Lawrence Avenue and end at the intersection of 8th Street and Lawrence Avenue.

 

EllwoodCity.Org’s Costume Contest

When: Accepting photo submissions from October 31st- Nov 4.
