Hidden Gem Photography Grand Opening

Rebecca Dembach is the visionary behind Hidden Gem Photography, located at 314 5th Street in Ellwood. Though she has been doing professional photography for years, she just recently decided to open up her own photography studio.

Rebecca graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Ganon University in 2014. She used to work for a TV station as a video editor and graphic designer, and she also did promotions for a radio station; however, her heart was set around owning her own business, mainly centered around photography but also offering her skills in graphic design and video creating/editing.

In response to why she chose Ellwood to set up a studio she stated, “I was born and raised here. I love the smaller communities where everyone knows everyone and customers are more likely to stay loyal.”

Rebecca is excited to be offering her services for a reasonably low rate in the hopes she will build a very loyal and happy client base.

Dembach mainly specializes her photography in portraits, however, she also does a lot of senior pictures, family/kids/baby photos, engagements, and even pet photography. She hopes to be photographing weddings in the near future.

Not only does she offer the use of her photography studio for the session, she is also willing to travel to locations up to two miles for free, anywhere farther incurs a $25 service charge.

To celebrate her new business start up, Rebecca is encouraging everyone to attend her grand opening event this Thursday evening from 4p.m. to 8p.m. The ribbon cutting will be held at 6p.m.

Food will be provided from the local Subway, baked good from Katie’s Bakery, and tee-shirts from Venenzie’s Sporting Goods. A large array of giveaway items, including a Mary Kay set, local Ellwood business basket, free hour photo session, and others, will be available to win.

Rebecca will soon be setting up a small shop in her studio to sell local hand-made items.

Friday, Saturday, and by appointment on Sunday she is offering half off the price of a photography session, prices vary depending on the session.

Her studio hours will be Sunday and Monday by appointment, Tuesday from 12p.m. to 4p.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 12p.m. to 6p.m., Friday from 12p.m. to 8p.m., and Saturday from 9a.m. to 6p.m.

Rebecca can be reached via her Facebook, website, or phone 724-674-3991.
