The Annual Pie Festival hosted by the Lincoln Blue Band will be held on Thursday, Aug. 25 at Helling Stadium. The gates will open at 6 p.m. and the show will begin at 7 p.m. This is a special event to kick off the Blue Band’s fall entertainment. All Blue Band members and fall sport team members will be announced. Each member will receive a free piece of pie.
Each ticket is $4.00 and for each ticket sold before the festival the band member will receive $1.00 for their band account. If you need more tickets, they will be in the band room during band camp.
We encourage each Blue Band member to donate two or three 8-9 inch pies. Please no cream pies or pies that need refrigeration. Pumpkin pies are acceptable. The more pies that are donated will help keep the cost down and make more profit for the band. If you cannot donate pies, you must submit $20.00.
Pies may be delievered to Loccosano’s Bakery department anytime that is convenient for you on Wednesday, Aug. 24.
