Seats Available for Women’s Club Trip to Ohio Amish Country

Seats are still available for the Women’s Club of Ellwood City sponsored bus trip to Ohio Amish Country (Walnut Creek).

The trip will be on Saturday, Aug. 13 and will depart from Christy’s Plaza at 8 a.m. and will return around 8 p.m. The trip will have shopping at the Walnut Creek Market where everyone will have a chance to buy many of the Amish Country Specialties (jellies, relish, cured meats, bulk food, bakery items and much more).

Lunch is included at the “Der Dutchman” Restaurant (family style lunch with two meats, noodles, stuffing, mashed potatoes and salad with pie for dessert and more) all you can eat. As time allows, you will have the chance to visit the shops near the restaurant (bakery, gift shops, candy store, etc) Next is a play at the Amish County Theater. The play “Kicken Chicken” is a family musical comedy show with lots of laughs and fun for all.
