Robert D. “Snuffy” Smith, 61, of Ellwood City passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2016 in the Allegheny General Hospital.
Mr. Smith was born on August 19, 1954 in New Brighton to the late Carl L. and Anna Marie Angeley Smith. He is a member of the New Brighton High School class of 1972. Robert had worked at Teledyne Standard, and for the past 21 years at Anchor Hocking in Monaca as a process auditor. He enjoyed golfing, but most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
Robert is survived by his wife, Loretta Buda Smith whom he married on November 15, 1980, his daughter, Ashley Smith of Ellwood City, his son, Derek (Jessica) Smith of Ellwood City, his grandchildren, Lena Rose Smith, and Luca Smith, his sister, Margaret Cica of Beaver, and his brothers, Paul (Linda) Smith of Ohio, and Ed (Debbie) Smith of Rochester.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Jerry Smith and Danny Smith, and his brother-in-law, Stan Cica.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-6 pm in the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services. A service for Robert will be held on Monday at 6:00 pm in the funeral home with Rev. Julia Williamson officiating.
